BYU-Pathway Worldwide monthly devotionals are designed to complement the student experience by fostering greater faith and discipleship in Jesus Christ. 麻豆精品在线播放 across the world have been inspired by these uplifting messages since devotionals started last year.
This semester, devotionals will feature the following speakers and General Authorities and Officers of the Church:
- September 24: President Clark G. Gilbert, BYU-Pathway Worldwide
- October 22: Elder Walter F. Gonzalez, General Authority Seventy
- November 12: Elder D. Todd Christofferson, Quorum of the Twelve Apostles
- December 10: Jane Clayson Johnson, journalist and author

About the Devotional Speakers
President Clark G. Gilbert
Clark G. Gilbert is the president of BYU-Pathway Worldwide. President Gilbert previously served as the president of BYU-Idaho as well as the president and CEO of Deseret News and Deseret Digital Media. He served his mission in Kobe, Japan, and later met his wife, Christine, at BYU. He went on to earn his master鈥檚 degree in East Asian studies from Stanford University and graduated with a doctorate in business administration from Harvard Business School. President Gilbert and Christine are the parents of eight children.
Elder Walter F. Gonzalez
Elder Walter F. Gonzalez was sustained as a General Authority Seventy on March 31, 2001. Elder Gonzalez was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, and joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when he was 18. He earned his bachelor鈥檚 degree at Indiana University. Elder Gonzalez has served in many positions for the Church, including stake president, president of the Guayaquil Ecuador South Mission, area public affairs director, and regional representative. He and his wife, Zulma, are the parents of four children.
Elder D. Todd Christofferson
Elder D. Todd Christofferson was called to the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles on April 5, 2008. Elder Christofferson was born in American Fork, Utah. He earned his bachelor鈥檚 degree from BYU and his law degree from Duke University. He also became the associate general counsel of NationsBank corporation and practiced law in Washington D.C. Elder Christofferson served his mission in Argentina. He and his wife, Katherine, are the parents of five children.
Jane Clayson Johnson
Jane Clayson Johnson is an award-winning journalist widely known for her work at CBS News, ABC News, and on the nationally syndicated NPR program, 鈥淥n Point.鈥 She has 麻豆精品在线播放 in journalism from BYU and, for more than two decades, she traveled the world, covering domestic and international stories. She is also the author of 鈥淚 Am a Mother,鈥 which chronicles her decision to leave the world of network news to have a family, and 2018鈥檚 鈥淪ilent Souls Weeping: Depression鈥擲haring Stories, Finding Hope.鈥 Jane and her husband, Mark, are the parents of five children.
