When my daughter was just one week old, I decided to enroll in BYU-Pathway Worldwide. Even though life felt uncertain and overwhelming, I wanted something better for her and for me.
At the time, I was in an unhealthy and unsafe marriage. Eventually, I made the difficult decision to leave and start fresh. As a new and singmom, I worked multiple jobs, cared for my daughter, and studied late into the night. Many days were exhausting, but I held to the hope that if I stayed consistent and trusted the Lord, things would work out.
As I studied through BYU-Pathway, I found more than an education; I gained confidence, stability, and purpose. Bit by bit, the Lord began to heal and rebuild my life. As I stepped forward in faith, He opened doors I never could have planned, including meeting my husband and being sealed in God’s beautiful temple.
As I prepare to graduate with my bachelor's degree, I feel deep gratitude. BYU-Pathway helped me rebuild my life and create a future I look forward to.

I was orphaned young, losing my mother at three and my father just after high school. Despite my losses, I graduated with honors, but sadly wasn’t financially able to pursue my dreams of going to college.
My life changed forever when I joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A loving bishop told me about BYU-Pathway Worldwide. Without hesitation, I enrolled. Where other systems had failed me, BYU-Pathway gave me a clear, low-cost and spiritually based path to my future. Through my courses, I discovered that true strength comes from perseverance — not grades — and that my identity is not defined by being an orphan but by my divine potential as a son of God.
With my degree in applied business management, I plan to become a leader in my community helping orphaned youth. I want to teach them what BYU-Pathway has shown me: circumstances do not dictate destination. Because of BYU-Pathway, I am no longer a student waiting for a chance. I am a professional prepared to create opportunities for others. This is the promise of BYU-Pathway. It truly makes a success story possible.

When I moved from the Dominican Republic to Belize to start my own family and a new chapter in my life, my dream of obtaining a university degree never left my heart.
In 2021, I searched for universities that offered classes in Spanish, but none did. This was a very difficult season in my life. I did not have a job, I did not speak English, and I was not studying. But deep in my heart, I held on to my faith and the hope that God had a plan for me.
Later, in 2022, my husband began teaching me English at home. When I was ready, I joined EnglishConnect and later BYU-Pathway. From that moment on, I promised myself I would not give up, no matter how difficult the journey became.
Today, I’ve completed my bachelor's degree in applied business management , and I’m filled with gratitude. Achieving this goal has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.
I achieved this dream thanks to God, my faith, my family’s support, and my determination to never give up. What once felt impossible is now a reality, and today I celebrate not only Â鶹¾«Æ·ÔÚÏß²¥·Å, but a testimony that dreams can come true when we trust in God and refuse to surrender.
