Leading the way to education
When from Armenia completed an associate degree, her two teenage children were inspired to learn English through the Church鈥檚 program and to follow their mother鈥檚 example of prioritizing education.
鈥淚 want to improve my English so I can continue to BYU-Pathway like my mom,鈥 said Ani鈥檚 13-year-old daughter, Anahit. 鈥淲henever I have questions about my homework, I go to my mom, and she responds in English. It鈥檚 great to have someone at home to learn from.鈥

Seeing an opportunity to involve their children, they invited their young son, Rom谩n, to help babysit while they facilitated a weekly gathering. Excited to serve like his parents, Rom谩n put on the name badge his father had worn as a young full-time missionary.
Julia said, 鈥淥ur service has brought more harmony, patience, and respect to our home. My children are inspired to progress in their own lives.鈥
Leading the way to the Savior
Tadeu Rego stopped attending church when he started traveling for work, but the spirit he felt in his BYU-Pathway gatherings inspired him to return. His family began attending church with him; his wife, Izabela, chose to be baptized; and they were sealed as a family with their two sons in the Rio de Janeiro Brazil Temple.
鈥淏YU-Pathway was the tool the Lord used to bring me back to the Church,鈥 he said. 鈥淣ot only did it bless my education but it blessed my faith and brought my family to the temple. It truly changed my life.鈥
